Hi, I’m Jane!
I’m currently a solo UX designer at ZenBill, working on improving business to business payments and building our new design system. Previously, I was working with Dreamo to create a resource that helps individuals easily learn software engineering terminology.
My background includes a degree in psychology, data analytics, and now UX. I was initially drawn to UX by the way it combines empathy and creativity, in a way that is tangible and interactive. The idea of building something that people find useful and enjoyable excites me.
As a designer, I strive to genuinely understand the person I’m designing for, to ultimately create the best user experience. If I have to interview inmates at a local jail, I’ll do it (true story)!
A passion to support new designers
Ever since I got my first camera, I’ve always loved creating my own videos at home. That hasn’t changed much, but now I love to share my UX journey on YouTube and TikTok!
I remember when I wanted to pursue UX, I had no idea where to start. I learned that many people had a similar experience, so I began sharing my personal journey online. My passion quickly grew into helping others who want to break into UX design, and supporting them on their journey.
My goal is to be a resource, and hopefully inspire others, by sharing my story. I’ve built a total community of 28K+ individuals across YouTube and TikTok, to help people learn more about UX.
